Why join the Isle of Man u3a?
Because:
- You've finished Full Time employment
- You've got time on your hands
- You want to meet new people
- You want to exercise your brain again
- You want to learn new things or explore hobbies in more depth
- You want to keep active
- You're fed up of daytime TV!
The u3a (University of the Third Age) is a UK wide network of local groups.
Our aim is to encourage people no longer in full-time work to come together and continue to enjoy discovering and learning more about topics of interest, and socialising with people with similar interests.
There is no minimum or maximum age.

AGM
All members of the IOM u3a are invited to attend our AGM. This will be held on 18th June at 2pm in the Tynwald Mills as part of our usual monthly meeting. This will be followed by our guest speaker, Ivor Ramsden. As a number of the current committee are standing down this year, voting will be required for new members.
If you wish to put your name forward to be considered for committee membership then you must ensure that your completed nomination form is passed to a current committee member no later than 21st May. Click here for a copy of the form. As you know we would welcome new members willing to give some of their time.
