Short Walks
In general, these walks should be no further than 3 miles in length and not arduous. Appropriate footwear for individual walks will be indicated at the time but in general should be walking boots/Wellies as opposed to climbing boots and crampons.
The intention is for these shorter walks to be hosted by individuals amongst the group. The host should be familiar with the chosen route and take this opportunity show others a favourite walk of theirs.
Members, or guests on taster sessions, participating on these u3a walks do so at their own risk and the IOM u3a and walk leaders/organisers can bear no responsibility for accidents. We do not commit to having a qualified First Aider in the Group.
